Fastest typists
Ranked by words per minute on the typing test. Our server recalculates every score from the actual keystrokes. We only show a first name or nickname and a city.
Ranked by words per minute from each person's best test during "this month". Higher is better. Errors are already subtracted from WPM, so the error rate is shown just for reference. How rankings work
How rankings work
Who ranks higher
The typing test leaderboard uses each person's best test in the selected period, no matter the test length. It's sorted from the most words per minute down, and everyone appears only once.
Words per minute
A word counts as five characters, including spaces. We subtract every uncorrected error from your speed, so typing fast and sloppy doesn't pay off.
Error rate and accuracy
Error rate is the number of mistakes per 100 keystrokes. Only tests with at least 90% accuracy make the leaderboard, and we review unusually fast results before they show up.
Most Dedicated, points, and levels
You earn points for every session and lesson, with a bonus for accuracy. The Most Dedicated leaderboard adds them up for the period. Your points also raise your level, from Rookie all the way to Legend. Points and levels
Weeks start on Monday and months on the 1st, based on Eastern Time. You can hide yourself from the leaderboard anytime in your profile settings.
